Metropolitan is a 16-story high-rise condominium building on the corner of Broad Street and Marietta Street in Five Points neighborhood of Downtown Atlanta. In 1911, this high-rise was constructed as the Third National Bank Building; and subsequently, it was named the Atlanta Federal Savings and Loan Building. In the 1960’s, the building was repaired with aluminum; and in 1996, it was totally refurbished and transformed into 91 loft-style condo homes with a touch of old-architecture and a modern look.
Metropolitan provides one to three bedroom floor plans. The majority of these loft-style homes have been upgraded and feature a variety of large floor plans, large floor-to-ceiling windows that open, hardwood floors, 10-foot ceilings, granite finishes, stainless steel appliances, exposed ductwork, and eye-catching views of Downtown Atlanta.
Occupants of these spectacular Downtown condominiums are within a short distance to Centennial Park, MARTA rail stations, Georgia Aquarium, Rialto Center for the Arts, Atlanta Central Library, Starbucks, The Westin Peachtree Plaza, Atlanta City Hall, Georgia State Capitol, and Georgia Dome. Schools nearby are Centennial Place Elementary School, Inman Middle School, Grady High School, and Georgia State University.
Metropolitan is a quick drive to Atlanta’s best neighborhoods including Atlantic Station, Buckhead, and Virginia Highlands.
